How Can I Help?
As I’ve represented individuals and businesses over the past decade in North Carolina’s state and federal courts, in arbitration hearings, and in pre-litigation negotiation, I’ve learned that there are two things that separate a good attorney from a great attorney:
Experience & Preparation
One takes time.
The other takes dedication.
Combined, they’re a force to be reckoned with.
As your lawyer, I rely on my ten years’ worth of experience litigating matters from motor vehicle accidents and professional malpractice cases to complex commercial litigation and cyber security cases to provide you with the best possible representation.
As your lawyer, I will work harder than anyone else to make sure that I’m providing the best – the right – representation for your case.
I live in Charlotte, North Carolina…
… with my wonderful wife Courtney. We were married by my mentor, and one of the best trial lawyers I’ve ever seen, Gray Wilson, in 2014. We’re both huge soccer fans (even though I never played – something I can’t explain), always pulling for U.S.A. and Real Madrid.
We love Charlotte, and are particularly fond of the amazing and constantly growing food scene here in town. Our favorite restaurants include Paco’s Tacos, Bang Bang Burgers, and Basil Thai. Our favorite brewery in Charlotte is NoDa, although it has some new competition – always a good thing!.

In my ten years practicing law in North Carolina…
… I’ve had the opportunity to work with and for some amazing attorneys. I’ve gained significant experience on matters in both state and federal court, and various arbitration forums, including the American Arbitration Association and the National Arbitration Forum.
My litigation experience includes cyber security law, motor vehicle negligence, professional malpractice defense, and a range of cases from trade secret and copyright actions in federal court to construction defect and business disputes that resolved in pre-litigation mediation.
As your attorney, I expect to represent your interests to the best of my ability, focusing on three key things:
I will represent you with all of the energy, enthusiasm, and fervor you would expect from your advocate. I will fight for you, for your business, and for your reputation, to the utmost of my abilities.
You will never hear anything from me about your case other than the absolute truth. I pull no punches when talking to my clients about their case. If you’re looking for anything other than 100% honesty about your case, look elsewhere.
I represent my clients aggressively and professionally. I will treat everyone, including the opposing counsel and party, with respect, even when I disagree with their arguments or conduct.
